Pets for Life Vet Team

Dr. Anthony, EMVZ Leslie, Dr. Poli and Dr. Pacheco.  All three vets are licensed and are graduates of Universidad Autonoma in Tepic, Nayarit.

Leslie is a vet tech and PEACEAnimals Education Director.

PEACEAnimals is very fortunate to enjoy a work agreement with the Pets for Life veterinary team. Together, we provide a free, spay/neuter program 3.5 days a week approximately 42-44 weeks annually.

Leslie Caratachea, vet tech and education director, visits private and public schools where a clinic is being held that particular week.  Brief presentations, accompanied by visuals, tell the story of the importance of pet sterilization. Education is critical in achieving desired changes in the attitude towards pets, wildlife and the environment.

PEACEAnimals programs include the following:

  • Weekly (3.5 days) free spay/neuter clinics
  • Free consultations
  • Free treatment for fleas, ticks, parasites, and mange
  • Pregnancies terminated at owner’s request at no charge
  • Euthanasia provided at owner’s request if pet is too critically ill or injured to survive, at no charge
  • Free public and private school education programs regarding pet care, stressing the importance of spay/neuter; adoption/rescue versus purchase; and care for wildlife and the environment.
