“KEVIN” BEFORE BEING NEUTERED AT LAS ARALIAS CLINIC |
Pet owners arrived with cats and dogs from many of the surrounding colonias many of whom were waiting in line before the clinic opened. A dog trainer who is taking care of “Kevin,” the emaciated and abused Pit Bull, brought him in to be neutered. Though still thin, Kevin looks strong and sweet and will be for adoption. Volunteers registered pets, monitored vital signs post-surgery, picked off loads of ticks with tweezers and dropped them in a glass filled with alcohol, and helped with clean-up.
